Wairudo Hikku (Shoji)The protagonist Hik is a big-hearted, jocular fellow with a club and lives in the house of a boy named Shiyak.Shiyak and his parents live with Hik, and various problems befall the four as surreal jokes, which were popular in the 1960s’ to 70s’. Wairudo Hikku is a comedy animation series consisting of independent episodes. Hik’s weakness is that he is scared of rats, and although he sometimes gets into trouble because of them, he turns the tables with his flexible ideas and funny behavior and uses his trademark club to solve his troubles in a comedic fashion.The series features sketches like “Hik yawns and gets a dislocated jaw, but bashes it back into place using a hammer”, “When he tilts the TV, people on the screen fall over and hurt themselves”, and many other surreal jokes and nonsense jokes that were popular in the 1960s’ to 70s’.
