The gang is led by Dokurobei, the god of thieves, and consists of his subordinate Doronjo, as well as Boyacky and Tonzura.Following the orders of Dokurobei, the Dorombo Gang keep making money out of fraudulent businesses, creating Dorombo machines, and committing evil deeds, in order to collect the four Skull Stones that indicate where a huge gold ingot lies. However, every time the Dorombo Gang causes trouble, the Yatterman team uses Yatter-Wan and other surprise super machines to defeat the Dorombo machines. The scene where the three members of the defeated Dorombo Gang are punished in a comical fashion following Dokurobei’s words “You need to be punished” while fleeing on their tandem bicycle was inserted in each episode.
