Outline Hyoga Senshi GaisluggerAn original anime work which was broadcast in a total of 20 episodes on TV Asahi Corporation Network from April 12, 1977.Shotaro Ishinomori, who is well known for Cyborg 009 and Kikaider, etc., worked on the character designs.Thirty thousand years ago, the ultra-ancient civilization, Soron Kingdom, which flourished in Antarctica, was attacked by an invader from space, the Inbemu Alien, and was on the verge of being wiped out.In order to break the deadlock, a group of five Cybernoid cyborgs, Gaislugger, with powerful combat capabilities, who is a last resort in the battle with the Inbemu, was produced. However, before they launched a counterattack, the Earth entered an ice age that caused them to drift off into a long sleep under the glacier while their homeland ceased to exist.Ironically, the Inbemu Alien deemed the Earth to be of no use because of the advent of the ice age, and abandoned and suspended their invasion.Gaislugger, who woke in the present age after a long thirty thousand years have passed, happened to know that the Earth has recovered its usefulness and is once again targeted by the Inbemu Alien.Although they have already lost their homeland to return, in order to protect their mother planet, the Earth, they decided to stand up to defeat the Inbemu Alien this time around.They throw themselves into the lonely battle with the Inbemu Alien, operating the all-purpose fighter, Soron, which was also sleeping with them under the glacier.
