Tondera Hausu no Daiboken (The Flying House) (Outline)A young boy, Gen, and his girlfriend, Kanna, and her younger brother, Tsukubo, who visit Kaminoda Mountain to play, are suddenly hit by a heavy rain, and rush into an old western-style house to take shelter from the rain.There, they meet a genius scientist, Dr. Taimu, and his robotic assistant, Kandenchin, who live in the western-style house. They have been conducting research over the years, and made and experimented with a huge house-shaped time machine, “Tondera Hausu” (Flying House).Coincidentally, it is raining heavily outside the western-style house and has also started thundering. While the weather gets worse, a big bolt of lightning strikes the top of the western-style house; the current in the lightning strike is transmitted to the time machine through the western-style house, so the time machine malfunctions and operates before it’s completed and flies them off to a parallel universe with the western-style house.When they realize, they find they have traveled into the past to ante-Christum Israel. Later, Gen and others run into Jesus Christ and his disciples from the Bible, and look for clues for how to go back to their original era while fixing the broken Tondera Hausu.They also run across the presence of demonic spirits, angels, etc., of lore, and witness miracles of the water of life, the two pennies, etc. While following the tracks of the Bible they chase the hidden heroic lives of Christ and his disciples, and learn astonishing facts of their lives.The strange adventures of the Doctor and robot, and Gen, Kanna and Tsukubo have started, while mixing global time travel set in the Bible. |
