Tongari Boushi no Memoru (Little Memole)Lil Little Village is located on a small island on a lake in Verne, a village near the border between France and Switzerland. Its inhabitants are dwarfs who come from Lil Little, a planet on the other side of the galaxy, and who crash landed on earth.Memole lives in Lil Little Village. Though mischievous, Memole is a kind-hearted girl who cherishes nature and loves little birds and animals.One day, Memole has strayed into the opposite shore of the lake while trying to save a little bird being attacked by an eagle, Memole encounters a human girl named Mariel. Mariel is living in a villa in Verne with her strict governess Ms. Penelope to recuperate from her illness.Memole becomes friends with Mariel, who has not been able to feel her family’s love during her long convalescence, and teaches her various things to cheer her up.As Mariel spends her time just like a child should, playing, eating, running around, and doing other exciting things, she learns the importance of living positively.Mariel’s condition improves and she regains health as her bond with Memole deepens, but that means that Mariel has to return to school and will not be able to be with Memole.Not wanting to be separated from Mariel, Memole enters human society and starts going to Saint Roine Art Academy with her.Memole and Mariel further deepen their bond through sharing various experiences, but then a spaceship is scheduled to come to rescue Memole and the other dwarfs and take them back to Planet Lil Little. This means they will be separated for good, but Memole chooses to remain on earth and live with Mariel. |
