Shinzo Ningen KyashanThe genius scientist Dr. Kotaro Azuma invents a pollution removal robot named BK-1, but the robot is struck by lightning and its system malfunctions, causing the robot to start gaining consciousness.Learning about human society, BK-1 comes to the conclusion that it was humans who were destroying the earth’s environment and that, therefore, they needed to be eliminated. BK-1 creates an android army of battle robot soldiers, calls itself Buraiking Boss, and declares war on the human world.Dr. Azuma, heavily criticized by the world as having created a weapon of invasion, starts working on the development of Neo-Human Casshern (Shinzo Ningen Kyashan) in order to counter the android army.Tetsuya Azuma, Dr. Azuma’s son, lamenting the terrible state of the world, decides to become Neo-Human Casshern that his father developed, in order to save humankind. Thus Tetsuya is reborn as a part-machine immortal warrior.Tetsuya, together with his robotic dog Friender, which had a mechanical body with the consciousness of his former pet dog, and his girlfriend Luna, confronts the android army to crush the ambitions of Buraiking Boss, and embarks on a long and harsh journey around the world in search of Dr. Azuma, who has been captured by the android army, without a clue as to where to go.In the last confrontation, the culmination of many battles, Tetsuya is reunited with Dr. Azuma, and the two of them destroy the android army. Finally, Tetsuya defeats the surviving Buraiking Boss in single combat and puts an end to the long war between humans and robots. |
